There’s no denying that autumn is one of the best seasons of the year. The leaves start to change color, the temperature starts to cool down, and pumpkin spice everything begins appearing in stores. But one of our favorite things about fall is all of the delicious treats that become available. One of our favorites is apple cheesecake! This recipe is perfect for those chilly autumn nights when you want something sweet and comforting.
As I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, I saw a post from one of my friends about an amazing apple cheesecake recipe. I clicked on the link and quickly printed out the recipe. Since I had a leftover apple and all of the ingredients, I decided to start baking!
The recipe was really easy to follow and the end result was incredible! The cheesecake was fluffy and creamy with a delicious apple topping. Everyone who tried it absolutely loved it! In fact, my friend even said that it was the best cheesecake she had ever tasted.

Apple cheesecake is the best!
I swear this apple cheesecake recipe is the best you will ever taste!
This is not your ordinary cheesecake recipe. This is the best apple cheesecake recipe you will ever taste. I’m not kidding. This cheesecake is so good, you will be making it again and again. Trust me, I know from experience.
What makes this apple cheesecake recipe so special? First, the apples. I use Granny Smith apples in this recipe because they are tart and have a great texture. Other apples would work too, but Granny Smiths are my personal favorite. Second, the cream cheese filling. It’s rich and creamy and full of flavor. The key to getting a perfect consistency is to make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature before you begin mixing. Lastly, the topping. A traditional cheesecake topping is made with sour cream, but I like to use Greek yogurt instead. It’s a little lighter and tastes great with the apples and cream cheese filling.
So, if you are looking for an amazing apple cheesecake recipe, look no further! This is THE best apple cheesecake recipe you will ever taste. Make it for your next party or family gathering and watch it disappear! Trust me, it’s that good.

1. The first recorded mention of cheesecake was by the ancient Greek poet Hesiod, who mentioned it in his works Works and Days and Theogony. In these works, he praises cheesecake as being “the best of all cakes.”
2. Cheesecake is thought to have originated on the island of Samos. This is because the island was home to a large amount of sheep, and thus, cheese.

let’s start gathering the ingredients
Ingredients and how to make
One of the most popular fall desserts is apple cheesecake. This dish is not only delicious, but it is also relatively easy to make. This dessert is guaranteed to please any crowd, and it’s actually pretty simple to make. Here’s what you’ll need and what you will do:
Crust: Combine the gingersnaps, butter, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl, and set them into a springform pan.
Cheesecake: First, cream the eggs, cream cheese, and sugar using a hand mixer. Second, stir to combine them into sour cream, vanilla extract, all-purpose flour, and salt mix them until everything is combined. Third, pour them into a prepared crust and bake them for 1 hour and 35 minutes at 325°F. Once baked, transfer to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.
Toppings: In a heated skillet, add the apple cider, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for 5 minutes or until becomes thickened. Reduce the heat then add the butter, apples, and salt, stir until soft and becomes syrup.
Serve: Over a cooled cheesecake, pour the apple mixture, top with pecans, and drizzled with maple syrup or caramel. Let it chill for at least 4 hours so the flavors can meld together. Serve, and enjoy!
Ingredients Tips
?Ginger snap: You can also use graham crackers or Oreos.
?All-purpose flour: To make this gluten-free dessert feel free to use certified gluten-free flour.
Recipe Note
? You can use any type of apple you like. I prefer to use Granny Smith apples because they are tart and have a nice firm texture. However, you could also use Honeycrisp, Golden Delicious, or even Braeburn apples.
? If you want to make a caramel topping, simply omit the apple cider and cook the sugar until it is a deep amber color. Then, add the butter and apples and continue to cook until the sauce is thick and bubbly.
Storing Tips
? To make this dessert ahead of time, simply prepare the cheesecake and toppings as directed. Then, cover and refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, simply remove it from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature. Then, top with the apples and caramel and serve as directed. Enjoy!
Well, this is the best apple cheesecake recipe you will ever taste. Make it for your next party or family gathering and watch it disappear! Trust me, it’s that good.
