  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar for serving

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch round baking dish with butter.
