Not only are these sweet pastries filled with creamy custard and topped with festive toppings like sprinkles, but they're also incredibly versatile for everything from after-dinner desserts to birthday parties. Whether you use them as traditional finger food or turn them into tasty mini pies, these delectable rolls will have everyone asking for more. So get your ovens preheated and let's get baking!

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs separated
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • food coloring yellow, red, and blue
  • ¾ cup cream very cold
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • mini chocolate eggs for decoration
  • white chocolate to cover the cake

Instructions
 

Let's Begin!

    Cake

    • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • In a bowl with a hand mixer with the whisk attachment, whisk egg yolks with half of the sugar. Add vegetable oil and keep whisking for 1 minute.
    • Beat egg whites with the other half of the sugar adding gradually and continue to beat until they hold soft peaks.
    • In another bowl, mix flour and baking powder.
    • Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in the flour mixture, then the egg whites. Do not over-mix.
    • Divide batter into three bowls and add desired food coloring to each batch, stir to combine. Pour batters onto the pan.
    • Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
    • Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes.
    • Gently roll the cake up on the parchment paper.

    Chantilly Cream

    • Prepare the cream chantilly, beating the cream on high speed with powdered sugar.
    • Carefully unroll the cooled cake and evenly spread the cream filling evenly over the entire cake.
    • Roll the cake up and place it on a serving tray.
    • Cover the cake with melted white chocolate and decorate it with mini chocolate eggs.
    • Serve and enjoy with family and friends!
