Easy Churro Cheesecake Bars

Can you believe these churro cheesecake bars are healthier than the traditional deep-fried form? They are super tasty and easy to make, perfect for holiday baking!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packs crescent rolls chilled
  • 2 bars cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 stick unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • First, preheat the oven to 350º F.
  • Then prepare a 13x9" baking dish by spraying it with cooking baking spray. Then set it aside.
  • Lay out one of your crescent rolls on the bottom of your baking dish.
  • Ensuring that the roll is stretched as needed to fill the size of the baking dish. Then set it aside.

Making the filling:

  • Using an electric mixer, mix and combine the cream cheese, white sugar, and vanilla in a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  • Scoop the cheesecake mixture over the crescent rolls and spread it to the edges.
  • Unroll the second crescent roll sheet and carefully place it on top of the cheesecake filling, thoroughly covering it.

Assembling:

  • Meanwhile, microwave the butter until fully melted and pour it on top of the crescent layer.
  • Dust the top with the sugar and cinnamon mixture until well combined.
  • Bake the cheesecake bars for 30 minutes.
  • Set it to the side to let it cool completely.

Notes

You can make homemade crescent rolls from scratch if you want a healthier and cheaper alternative.
