- 5-6 pears peeled, cored, and diced
- ⅓ tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 16 tbsp oats old fashioned
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar packed
- kosher salt to taste
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter unsalted
- 4 oz pistachios chopped
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Blend the pears and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and toss to combine. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
Stir together the flour, oats, salt, and brown sugar in a separate medium mixer.
Mix in the butter until the crumbles are approximately the size of peas and the mixture comes together. Set aside the pistachios after mixing them in.
Cover the pears with the oat mixture in a greased 8-inch baking dish.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is brown and the pears are bubbling.
