Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 pears peeled, cored, and diced
  • tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 16 tbsp oats old fashioned
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar packed
  • kosher salt to taste
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter unsalted
  • 4 oz pistachios chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Blend the pears and cinnamon in a mixing bowl and toss to combine. Add the lemon juice and mix well.
  • Stir together the flour, oats, salt, and brown sugar in a separate medium mixer.
  • Mix in the butter until the crumbles are approximately the size of peas and the mixture comes together. Set aside the pistachios after mixing them in.
  • Cover the pears with the oat mixture in a greased 8-inch baking dish.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is brown and the pears are bubbling.
