Pear Pistachio Crisp
this Pear Pistachio Crisp boasts a crunchy coating of oats, pistachios, aromatic cinnamon, and brown sugar, as well as a naturally sweet sweetness from the baked pear chunks. It has a lot less sugar than a traditional dessert, so I offered it to my kids over plain Greek yogurt one morning. They were giddy with anticipation at the prospect of having a dessert for breakfast! This Pear Pistachio Crisp is so delicious, you’d never believe it has less sugar than most of the desserts we eat at this time of year. The finest combination is the crispy crunch of the pistachios and the warm cooked pears.
This dessert will undoubtedly be on our Thanksgiving table this St. Patrick’s Day. We are all excited to dig down with a dollop of ice cream on top! Which dessert are you most looking forward to? They are easy to make in just 55 minutes and have minimal steps. There you have it!
