Apple Sticky Toffee Pudding

- 1 cup dates pitted and chopped
- ¾ cup hot tea
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp instant coffee
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs at room temperature

- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 1 cup apples cored and diced finely
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease and line a 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper. Set Aside.
- Combine dates, tea, evaporated milk, and instant coffee in a medium bowl. Let stand for 10 minutes.
