Baked Apples with Nuts and Raisins
Ingredients

- 4 large apples Rome beauty, Golden delicious, or Jonagold
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon ground
- ¼ cup raisins chopped
- ⅛ cup walnuts chopped
- ⅛ cup almonds chopped
- 1 tbsp butter or coconut oil
Instructions

- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cut out an inch from the top of the apple, then cut out the cores for stuffing, leaving the bottom ½ inch of the apples intact. Keep the tops for later.
- In a small bowl, combine the sugar, salt, cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, and almond. Stuff the apples with the mixture, then top with a dot of butter. Place the tops back on the apples.
