Best Baking Tips; Ingredient Tips!
One of the most popular holiday treats is eggnog, a rich and creamy drink that’s usually made with milk, eggs, sugar, and spices. Eggnog is so popular that it’s often used in other desserts, like this Christmas Eggnog Fudge recipe. here are some tips to make the perfect Christmas Eggnog Fudge:
Eggnog
You can use store-bought or homemade eggnog in this recipe. If using store-bought, be sure to check the ingredients list to make sure it contains eggs. Homemade eggnog will also work well in this recipe.
Rum
Any type of rum will work in this recipe, but we recommend using a light rum so that it doesn’t overpower the other flavors. If you don’t want to use rum, you can substitute vodka or whiskey, or none at all.
Marshmallow Fluff
Marshmallow fluff is a type of whipped topping that’s made with marshmallows and air. It can be found in most grocery stores near the other whipped toppings. If you can’t find marshmallow fluff, you can use sweetened condensed milk, just make sure to control the amount of sugar you add.
Spices
This recipe calls for cinnamon and nutmeg, but feel free to experiment with other spices like cardamom or cloves. You can also add more or less spice to taste.
With these tips, I’m sure you’ll be able to perfect your Christmas Eggnog Fudge. You can also make different variations to make it uniquely your own!
