Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Bread
Ingredients

Dough
- 1 cup water lukewarm
- 1½ cups whole milk lukewarm
- ½ ounce active dry yeast
- 3 eggs fresh
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 1 cup raisins
- 8 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3 tbsp cinnamon ground
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Instructions
Let's Begin!
Dough
- Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water, then set aside until frothy.
- In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, butter, salt, milk, and activated yeast mixture. Then slowly add the lukewarm milk.
- Gradually add the flour to the mixture to make a stiff dough, then add in the raisins.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for a few minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough back in the used large mixing bowl, but make sure to butter the bowl first. Cover with a warm, damp cloth and let rise until doubled, usually about 1 1/2 hours.
