Start with good quality chocolate.

It’s important to use a chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content, this will ensure that your mousse is rich and flavorful.

Be careful not to overheat the chocolate.

Melt the chocolate over a double boiler or in the microwave, being careful not to overheat it. If the chocolate gets too hot, it will seize up and become gritty.

Use whipped cream to lighten the mixture.

This will give the mousse its signature light and fluffy texture.
